Chester from the South

Take the M6 North and ignore signs for Chester at Junction 16, instead take J18 signed Chester A54.
Turn right at next roundabout, onto B5309 signed Northwich, then right at next roundabout to the T-junction. Turn right and follow this straight road as it becomes the A530 heading towards Northwich.
Go straight on at the roundabout past the large Morrisons depot on the left hand side, then left at the next roundabout onto the A556 towards Chester.
Follow this dual carriageway, straight over at the next roundabout, continuing straight over the A49 at a major crossroads with a petrol station on the right. Here the road narrows to a single lane.
Carry straight on as the A54 merges from the left, past the caravan garage on the left, then straight over the roundabout as the A51 joins from the left.
Go straight on at the traffic lights, past the golf club on the right hand side, then left at the big roundabout onto the A55 signed Wrexham.
After the A55 crosses the A41, take the next exit for the A483 Wrexham and Chester, after a long slip road. Now follow directions to the Church or Hotel.

Chester from Wales
Either take the M4/5 and the M6 route above, or:
Take the A483 through Welshpool, then at Oswestry join the A5 passing through Chirk. Don't follow A5 to Llangollen, but carry straight on the A483, through Ruabon, past Wrexham and up towards the A55.

Chester from the North
Head towards Chester on the M56, taking Junction 15 for the M53 signed Chester.
The M53 turns into the A55 where it crosses the A56 heading into town, but you should ignore this and the next junction where the A51 crosses.
Instead, stay on the A55 as it circles round to the south of the city, then take the A483 signed Chester/Wrexham.

Grosvenor Pulford Hotel from the A55
From the A55, turn left to head south on the A483 to Wrexham. After 100 yards take the first exit at the roundabout onto the B5445, signed Garden Centre.
Follow this road past the Grosvenor Garden Centre on the left, continue on passing a garage and shops also on the left.
When you see a large church on the left the hotel is immediately on the right. There is plenty of parking.

St Mary's Church from the A55
From the A55, turn right onto the A483 signed Chester, past a hotel and a BP garage on the right.
Go over two roundabouts as you pass the Business Park, then a school and a hospital on the right.
See the close-up map of the compound roundabout at the end. Just stay in the right hand lane and take the second right turn to Handbridge (the first right will take you back the way you've come).
If you do miss the turning you'll head over the bridge towards Chester city centre. Just go past the racecourse and turn around at the next roundabout 
Assuming you make the right turn, you'll pass a cemetery and a stonemason's on the right.
The church is just round the corner on the left, though there is very limited parking.

Wedding Reception from the Church
To avoid the rush hour traffic from the Business Park, we recommend that you take this route:
Take the road opposite the church, Eaton Road, follow it across the A55 to a T-junction at Eccleston.
Turn right into Rake Lane, go under a bridge and follow it to the end, then turn left onto the B5445.
Follow this road past the Grosvenor Garden Centre on the left, continue on passing a garage and shops also on the left.
When you see a large church on the left the hotel is immediately on the right. There is plenty of parking.
